TRY OUR FREE RECIPES

To acquaint you with our recipes and how detailed they are presented, we offer four FREE recipes for you to try here on our site. Simply “click” on a picture to take you to the recipe page.  Each recipe is “Printer Friendly.”  All recipes are wholesome and delicious with healthier ingredients.  A minimum of fat and sweet is used with all recipes being cholesterol free or very low per serving.

We think that the recipes and information provided on this site will help motivate you to want to eat healthier as everything has great flavor and taste without artificial ingredients or added chemicals.  Eating should always be a pleasurable experience for the spirit as well as the body.

was developed and written by Helen Taylor Smith.  She produced and hosted a popular cooking and interview show on television for five years.  Over the ensuing years, her goal was to find quality, natural ingredients to use in the recipes contained in COOKING HEALTHIER WITH THE HEALTHY COOK.  After visiting manufacturers, natural foods shows and finding new products in natural foods stores, Helen was able to experiment with many products for all the recipes contained in the book without using chemicals or artificial ingredients.  It is a cookbook to help everyone who seeks guidance to eat healthier.
